What an unbelievable time at this year’s KidFish Ice Derby. I can’t beleivebelieve it’s over. All I can say is , “WOW!” From the amazing turnout of families, the amount of fish caught, to all the prizes donated by our event sponsors and kind –hearted individuals, we could not ofhave planned it out any better. Even Mother Nature blessed us with mild weather. Everything was perfect, especially the attendance. We had a total of 1,127 participants at this year’s ice derby, and the best part is, 371 of them were kids. Talk about knocking the ball out of the park. On behalf of the organizing committee for the 2015 KidFish Ice Derby, I am pleased to announce through the sale of tickets, and combination of donations on the day of the derby, we have raised $34,405.25 for the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation and The Children’s Hospital Foundation. These 2015 KidFish Ice Derby Results are truly impressive. What an unbelievable ride, you are all amazing.
