Kidfish Ice Fishing Derby - February 16th, 2025

Join us on February 16th, 2025, for the annual KidFish Ice Fishing Derby on the frozen Red River at Selkirk Park. This family-friendly event supports the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba and CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

Event Highlights:

Grand Prize: Compete for a top prize of $5,000!

Youth Incentive: The first 600 kids in attendance will receive a free rod and reel combo.

Prizes: Guaranteed awards for the Top 10 Fish (open to all ages) and Top 5 Kid's Fish (not included in the Top 10). Winners must be present to collect fishing prizes.

Random Draws: All ticket holders are entered into random draw prizes on derby day. Attendance is not required to win these prizes; however, winners are responsible for any delivery costs.

Complimentary Hot Lunch: Enjoy a hot meal with a donation.

Schedule:

Gates open at 8:00 AM.

Derby starts at 10:00 AM.

No fishing is allowed before 10:00 AM.

Tents can be set up upon entrance at 8:00 AM.

All ages are welcome.
