1. Our services

The KidFish Ice Fishing Derby (“Event”) and related initiatives are organized to raise funds and awareness for children’s health charities. By registering, purchasing tickets, volunteering, sponsoring, or participating in any KidFish activity (“Services”), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Use of Services:
Our Services include event participation, online ticket sales, volunteer coordination, sponsorship opportunities, donation processing, and access to event-related content. All Services are provided for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise approved in writing.

Event Changes:
KidFish reserves the right to modify event schedules, activities, prizes, or features as needed due to weather, safety, or operational requirements. Any significant changes will be communicated through our website, email, or social media.

Updates & Notices:
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Property rights

Ownership of Content:
All logos, branding, photography, videos, event materials, website content, and promotional assets are the property of KidFish or its partners and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.

Participant Media Release:
By attending or participating in the Event, you acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken. KidFish may use these images for promotional, marketing, or fundraising purposes without additional consent or compensation.

Sponsor Logos & Trademarks:
Sponsor and partner logos are used with permission. Each logo remains the property of its respective owner. You may not reuse any logo or brand asset without authorization.

Use of KidFish Name:
Any public use of the KidFish name or brand (e.g., hosting a mini-event, creating merchandise, or promoting affiliate activities) requires written approval.

3. Prohibited activities

To protect the safety, integrity, and fairness of the Event and our Services, participants agree NOT to engage in the following:

At the event:

  • Violating fishing or ice safety rules.

  • Harassment, unsafe behavior, or disruptive conduct.

  • Entering restricted areas or ignoring staff directions.

  • Tampering with fish submissions, measurement processes, or prize eligibility.

  • Bringing prohibited substances or weapons.

Online or during registration:

  • Submitting false or misleading information.

  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or exploit our website or systems.

  • Using our platform for unauthorized promotions or marketing.

  • Impersonating another participant, sponsor, or representative.

KidFish reserves the right to remove any participant or refuse access to Services if these rules are violated. No refunds will be issued for removal due to prohibited activities.

4. Event & Service management

We take the safety and experience of participants seriously. The following terms outline our event and service policies:

Safety & Weather

  • Ice conditions and weather are monitored closely.

  • If the event must be delayed, modified, or canceled due to safety risks, we will notify participants as soon as possible.

  • KidFish is not responsible for travel costs related to event changes or cancellations.

Registration & Tickets

  • All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated.

  • Tickets may not be transferred, resold for profit, or used for unauthorized promotions without permission.

Liability

  • Participants acknowledge that ice fishing and outdoor activities involve inherent risks.

  • By attending, you assume all risks and release KidFish, its organizers, partners, and volunteers from liability to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Volunteers & Sponsors

  • Volunteers must follow event guidelines and instructions.

  • Sponsors must adhere to branding, booth, and promotional guidelines provided by KidFish.

Donations

  • Donations are not tax-deductible.

  • 100% of donations go to our designated children’s charities unless otherwise specified.
